As someone who has lived in Cambridgeshire my whole life, I am very fond of the place. But as someone who has had Coeliac Disease for around 9 or so years now, it still baffles me the lack of information on Coeliac Safe restaurants, cafes, and businesses we have of the area.

I have asked fellow Coeliacs in the area and found so many of them struggled to name places in which they feel are good for those with Coeliac Disease in our area. Is it a lack of places that accommodate, or is it just a lack of information? I'm hoping its the latter.

Let's find out. 

I have started Cambridge Coeliacs to solve this very issue, and bring together every piece of information on Coeliac Disease in Cambridgeshire that I can find. It is a mammoth task, and despite 25 years of living in Cambridgeshire and knowing the area very well, I feel like even I'm starting with a pretty blank canvas. 

I hope you will join me for this journey of (what I'm hoping will be) a lot of discoveries, as I hopefully build a list of places I can safely recommend cater for those with Coeliac Disease. They've got to be out there surely!
